Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the PsyObjects website (psyobjects.com) and the PsyObjects Android application (together, the "Service"), operated by Amarksoft Ltd ("we", "us", "our").
By registering for an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement.
The Service is not yet available to residents of Brazil, Indonesia, Singapore, or Thailand. By registering, you confirm that you are not a resident of any of these countries. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts where we have reason to believe this confirmation was inaccurate.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your password or allow others to access your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
You must provide accurate information when registering, including your country of residence. You must keep this information up to date.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we believe you have violated these Terms.
3. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Submit false, misleading, or spam associations
- Attempt to manipulate the confirmation or credit system
- Access or attempt to access another user's account
- Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service in any way that violates applicable law
- Harass, abuse, or harm other users
We may remove any content and suspend any account that we determine, at our sole discretion, violates these rules.
4. Your Contributions
When you submit tags or associations through the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, store, and display that content as part of the Service. You retain ownership of your contributions.
You confirm that your contributions are your own and do not infringe the rights of any third party.
5. Credits
Credits are earned by making quality contributions to the Service, as determined by our automated confirmation system. Credits can be used to unlock additional searches beyond your daily plan limit.
Credits have no monetary value and cannot be transferred, sold, or exchanged for cash. Unused credits expire as described in your plan. We reserve the right to modify the credit system, including earning rates and expiry terms, at any time with reasonable notice.
6. Subscriptions and Payments
Paid plans (PremiOm and PrO) are billed on a monthly or yearly basis. All payments are processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in GBP and are inclusive of any applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period; you retain access until that date. We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods except where required by law.
We reserve the right to change subscription prices. We will give you at least 30 days' notice of any price change. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price.
7. Images
Images displayed within the Service are sourced from Pexels and are subject to the Pexels Licence. We do not claim ownership of any images. Your use of images accessed through the Service must comply with the Pexels Licence terms.
8. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may suspend the Service for maintenance or updates, and will endeavour to give advance notice where possible.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be error-free, secure, or suitable for any particular purpose.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amarksoft Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under English law.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the effective date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will notify you by email or by a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
